Castle Rock Bless Her Heart
DOB 02/12/14
1xGCH Jr., 1xRGCH Jr.

Sire: SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage +*B *S
(Castle Rock Tanzanite +*B*S x SGCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Alum Root 1*M 3*D VEEE 91)
Dam: ARMCH-GCH Algedi Farm S Honey Heart 1*M 5*D
(Kaapio Acre's KK Sultan *S x SGCH Rosasharn's UMT Tupelo Honey 4*D VVEE)

Nice profile on this Honey Heart daughter. She is quite long, elegant, angular, and uphill with smoothness of blending, and she feels very dairy.

Castle Rock Light My Fire
DOB 3/26/14
1 x GCH Jr.

Sire: CRF Castle Rock Guy Noir +B +S
(Twin Creeks BW Montego Bay ++B ++*S x CH-MCH-PGCH Cloverdale YJ Blue Raven VEEE 90)
Dam: SGCH Castle Rock Wildfire VEEE 90
(Castle Rock Cyclone x GCH CRF Castle Rock Tuscan Sun 1*M VEEE 90)

Light My Fire is a very dairy individual, with good spring of rib, pliable skin, and a flat bone pattern. She seems to be taking after her paternal granddam, being on the petite side so far. She was shown once (and I mean one ring out of the three she was entered in) as a junior kid, and the experience was so unpleasant for everyone involved that she stayed home until she could gain a little more maturity. Then she walked into the first ring of the first show of the year and easily earned her junior leg- she glides around the ring on a strong set of feet and legs, walking naturally uphill at the withers. We were hoping to take her to the National Show, but literally ran out of room in the trailer we borrowed, and she had to stay home, even though she was already clipped. She is very sweet around the farm, and we are very much looking forward to seeing another one of our Guy daughters freshen!

Sire: Castle Rock Chicago Peace
(Copper Penny ROF Calico Jack x GCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Tuscan Sun 1*M *D VEEE 90)

Dam: GCH Castle Rock Flash Flood VEEE 90
(Castle Rock Tanzanite +*B x GCH Castle Rock Snownamie 2*M 4*D VEEE 90)

This bouncy little lady got her nickname- Bunny- before I could come up with her actual name. She's a spunky little thing, though the one time we took her to a show for the experience, she bounced and flipped a little too much like the animal she is named after. She's the only doe kid Flash has produced for us, but she seems to be holding up well under the weight of our expectations. Very much looking forward to seeing how she freshens in 2017.

Sire: Castle Rock Clark's Nutcracker
(CRF Castle Rock Harvest Moon +B *S x GCH-MCH-PGCH Cloverdale YJ Blue Raven VEEE 90)
Dam: CH Castle Rock Sunsilk EEEE 91
(Copper Penny ROF Calico Jack x GCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Tuscan Sun 1*M *D VEEE 90)

Sunsational is a very quiet little doe who looks just like a tiny replica of her dam. I love putting my hands on this girl- she's so soft and dairy feeling.

Sire: Castle Rock Chicago Peace
(Copper Penny ROF Calico Jack x GCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Tuscan Sun 1*M *D VEEE 90)

Dam: GCH Castle Rock Helen of Troy 4*M
(Castle Rock Harvest Moon +B *Sx GCH CRF Castle Rock Siren Song 3*M 3*D VEEE 90)

It's very easy to remember who this girl's sire is since she takes after him so strongly in her looks- being long bodied with really nice general appearance (even with all that fluff), but also having the wonderful dairy character of her dam.

Castle Rock Moon Pie
DOB 3/13/15
1xJr.GCH

Sire: Castle Rock Chicago Peace
(Copper Penny ROF Calico Jack x GCH-ARMCH CRF Castle Rock Tuscan Sun 1*M *D VEEE 90)

Dam: SGCH Castle Rock Moon Beam VEEE 90
(SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage +*B x CH CRF Castle Rock Moon River )

Before she had her official name, we were calling this little lady Squirt- a name she earned by being the smallest (and only doe) kid in a set of quintuplets. She ended up spending some time in the house where we could more easily make sure her little belly got filled as often as possible so she could catch up to her littermates. She's a fiesty little thing, and can often be found hanging out with her BFF, Sugar Snow. Moon Pie has length of body, dairy character, and width between the hocks while on the move.

Castle Rock Sugar Snow
DOB 3/11/15

3xRGCH Jr.

Sire: Castle Rock Moonraker
(SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage +*B x CH CRF Castle Rock Moon River )
Dam: SGCH CRF Castle Rock Blizzard 1*M 3*D VEEE 91
(Lost Valley KW Stetson +B +*S x Castle Rock Snowfluryceanothus 2*D)

Sugar is showing a very strong front end here- lots of brisket extension, well placed front legs, and a neck that extends smoothy from the withers. She also has the length and angularity we have come to expect when we cross Blizzard with a buck out of our Moon line. She also is very similar in personality to her big sister Snownamie, which would almost be enough on its own to justify keeping her here.

Castle Rock Easter Bonnet
DOB 3/13/15

Sire: Castle Rock Triumph
(SG Fairlea Barnaby Rudge +*B x GCH CRF Castle Rock Tesla 2*M)
Dam: Castle Rock Fedora
(Castle Rock Graupel *B x GC Castle Rock Raspberry Beret)

Bonnie was not a doe I was planning on keeping when she hit the ground as I had restricted myself to keeping "just" ten doe kids in 2015. However, when people came to pick out kids and would ask if she was available, I kept finding myself saying "I don't think so". There's just something about this doe that told me she needed to stay here, and she's turned out to be one of our friendliest kids. I love her dairy character and bone pattern, as well as her structural correctness.

Castle Rock Renault Twizy
DOB 2/11/16

Sire: Castle Rock Moonraker
(SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage +*B x CH CRF Castle Rock Moon River )
Dam: GCH CRF Castle Rock Tesla 2*M 5*D VVEE 89
(Woodhaven Farms Latigo x SG-ARMCH Lost Valley TB Infinity 4*D)

This little doe was the most intense kid- I never got why people got weirded out by blue eyes until we had this girl and she would just STARE at you with an intensity of one who is examining your weaknesses to exploit them later. As she has aged it seems that maybe she's looking to see if you are worthy of her affections, because she's now settled into being a great combination of smart and goofy. Twizy won her age class multiple times, and has great manners in the show ring so far. She's long and level on the move, with really nice blending, and a long, wide rump.

Castle Rock Sun Goddess
DOB 2/14/16 polled

Sire: Castle Rock Moonraker
(SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage +*B x CH CRF Castle Rock Moon River )
Dam: GCH CRF Castle Rock Tuscan Sun 1*M
(Woodhaven Farms Latigo x TX Twincreeks WDF Sunsprite)

There's no real easy way to shorten Sun Goddess into a good barn name, and this girl just looks like a Gabby to me, so that's what we went with. Another one of those kiddings where I hadn't orginally planned on keeping one of the kids, but this girl gave me a look when she was just a few days old, and I found myself saying "okay, then, you can stay". She's long, smoothly blended, and elegant with a really nice bone pattern, and really good width and depth already. She has a high arched escutcheon, and walks with lots of width between the hocks.

Castle Rock La Nina
DOB 4/15/16

Sire: Camanna OMF Jimson Weed
(Old Mountain Farm Frankincense x CH Camanna CT Jocelyn)

Dam: CH Castle Rock Polar Vortex
(SG Castle Rock Cleveland Sage +*B x GCH Castle Rock Snownamie 2*M 4*D VEEE 90)

I love the length of body on this Vortex kid, and she seems to take after her dam in wanting to be in the middle of the action. She went to her first show at under two months of age and was remarkably well behaved, though much too small to be of much competition in the AOP show.
